Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver seeks tutors for the MSU Denver Literacy Clinic at Pinnacle Charter School or Paris Elementary. The role includes 5 hours of training and 20 hours of tutoring over 10–12 weeks, with tutoring scheduled on two days per week, September 2026 through November 2026.

Compensation is $20 per hour; the position is not benefits eligible and requires enrollment in a PERA retirement account. Training and tutoring are in-person at the listed schools.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience is required.
• Commitment to the entire tutoring cycle (Sept 14, 2026 – Nov 21, 2026).
• Two 1-hour tutoring sessions per week during the tutoring cycle.

Responsibilities

• Complete tutor training and tutoring for MSU Denver Literacy Clinic at Pinnacle Charter School or Paris Elementary.
• Provide 2 hours of tutoring per week over 10-12 weeks (Sept 2026–Nov 2026).
• Tutoring occurs on 2 separate days (M/W, T/Th, and/or Saturdays).
• Training and tutoring occur off campus at Pinnacle Charter School or Paris Elementary.

Wage
