Job summary

Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is seeking a temporary part-time Literacy Classroom Aide for our after-school literacy program at area charter schools. The program runs twice weekly from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm, starting in October through December, for a total of 20 sessions.

The aide will help manage the classroom, implement developmentally appropriate lessons under the direction of the classroom teacher, reinforce educational goals, and attend to individual student needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with children or in a classroom setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPI Certification.
• Physical ability to perform duties associated with classroom support.

Buffalo Hearing & Speech is looking to hire a temporary part-time Literacy Classroom Aide for our after-school literacy program at area charter schools. This program is scheduled to run twice a week approximately 3:30p – 5pm starting in October through the end of December. There will be a total of 20 sessions.The Literacy Classroom Aide is responsible for assisting with the management of the children and classroom environment.
