Job summary

Buffalo Hearing & Speech is seeking a full-time Classroom Aide to work in our preschool classrooms at our Sweet Home location in Cheektowaga. The Classroom Aide assists with management of the children and classroom environment, organizing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities under the direction of the classroom teacher, and reinforcing educational goals.

• Ability to work well with children and understand their needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom management and supervision of preschool children.
• Organize and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities under teacher guidance.
• Reinforce educational goals and monitor children's progress.
• Attend to individual needs of children and support inclusive classroom practices.
• Follow busing and breakfast/lunch program procedures.
