Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Independent Ohio license (LISW or LISW-S) to practice.
• At least two years in independent clinical practice.
• Expertise/training in cognitive-behavioral and/or interpersonal psychotherapy, and understanding of the psychosocial aspects of chronic illness.
• Familiarity with the DSM-V.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and supportive services as part of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to improve patient care outcomes.
• Deliver individual, group, and couple/family therapy to help patients set treatment goals and return to functioning.
• Form aftercare plans and advocate in the local community as needed.
• Work as part of the clinical team and maintain payer relationships.
