Job summary

Argon Agency in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Primary Therapist to provide therapeutic services to individuals with mental health disorders. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy as part of a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
• Active Ohio licensure as LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, or Psychologist (or working toward independent licensure).
• Experience providing mental health therapy to individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and other behavioral health conditions.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff, to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in behavioral health care.
