Job summary

Carter Hears! invites applications for a Listening and Spoken Language Facilitator for the 2026–2027 school year.

This role supports Deaf and Hard of Hearing students by providing language modeling, cueing, and accessible learning experiences within partner schools across the Southeast. The ideal candidate will use voice, gesture, and print as needed, scaffold language development, and collaborate with Teachers of the Deaf and classroom staff to boost student participation and understanding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in the required field is preferred.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Background check, liability insurance, and TB test required.
