Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a qualified Medical Technologist to deliver 24/7 support for its laboratory applications across multiple facilities in Southern Nevada.

The role requires a BS in Medical Technology, 3 years LIS experience, Nevada MT license, and ability to travel between VHS facilities as needed. This position supports Cerner PathNet, CareAware iBus, Siemens UniPOC, Lifepoint and Voicebrook Dictation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related laboratory science preferred.
• 3 years’ experience with laboratory information systems.
• Experience using computer hardware/software and LIS experience.
• Licensed Medical Technologist in State of Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Provides 24/7 support of VHS Laboratory applications across the network, including Cerner PathNet, CareAware iBus, Siemens UniPOC, Lifepoint and Voicebrook Dictation.
