Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a health science related discipline or equivalent licensing path.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex analytical tests and procedures and maintains accuracy.
• Ensures data entry to the LIS in a timely manner.
• Communicates with nursing, physicians and staff to ensure proper specimen handling.
• Maintains compliance with CLIA-88, state regulations and internal SOPs.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and notifies when testing may be delayed.
