Job summary

Frontage Laboratories Inc. in Exton, PA is seeking an LIS Application Specialist to independently develop and maintain central lab information systems, LIS/LIMS, middleware, and related software.

In this role you will build and maintain LIS/LIMS databases for clinical trials and biobanking, collaborating with operations, QA, and IT. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in biology/chemistry or related field, at least one year LIS setup experience, and familiarity with LabVantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
• At least one year LIS Setup experience.
• Experience with LabVantage Medical Suite and Biobanking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and maintain Central Lab Service standard procedures and training Job-Aids regarding LIS/LIMS and middleware.
• Build and maintain LIS/LIMS database for clinical trials, medical testing, and Biorepository.
• Partner with Laboratory Operations and Project Management to build tests and calculations in LIS/LIMS systems.
• Assist laboratory management and QA Specialist with Change Control related to LIS.Liaise between management, QA and IT to coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.
• Ensure LIS/LIMS systems comply with HIPAA, GDPR, GCP, GLP, CAP, CLIA rules with QA support.
• Collaborate with Data Management to ensure data consistency between LIS/LIMS and client contracts.
• Develop studies within LIS/LIMS databases aligned with Study protocols.
