Job summary

Big Daddy’s Liquors is seeking an energetic Sales Associate to assist customers, process transactions, merchandise the floor, and ensure a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet customers, recommend products, and manage purchases while helping us promote current specials and loyalty programs. Weekend and holiday availability is required as part of a flexible retail schedule.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
• Basic computer skills; experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Wine, spirits, or retail sales experience preferred, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and recommend products based on their preferences and needs.
• Promote current specials, suggest products, and encourage customers to join our loyalty program.
• Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
• Check customer IDs and follow company policies for responsible alcohol sales.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare online orders for timely pickup.
• Receive deliveries, replenish shelves, organize backstock, and assist with inventory counts.
• Keep shelves, displays, and promotional signage organized and properly labeled.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and checkout area.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and notify management of issues or unusual incidents.
• Work with the team to meet sales goals and support daily store operations.
