Job summary

Lees Discount Liquor in Reno, NV is seeking an Assistant Manager to back up the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, drive revenue, handling receiving and inventory turnover, and ensuring store opening/closing procedures are followed.

You will supervise cashiers and stockers, keep shelves neat and stocked, deliver exemplary customer service, and assist in team building. Prior retail and liquor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years retail experience; liquor experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Drives revenue and customer counts.
• Ensures store is visually enticing, neat, clean, organized; sale signs displayed timely.
• Manages weekly store orders with distributors; ensures receiving is accurate.
• Oversees inventory levels and shelf management.
• Identifies opportunities to grow the business and improve sales.
• Maintains internal controls and conducts weekly cash reconciliations.
