Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to Safeway customers.
• Train, schedule, and supervise Liquor Clerks to ensure adequate staffing.
• Resolve customer issues related to sales or service in the liquor department.
• Face shelf to company standards and maintain display cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory, replace stock, and place orders as needed.
• Perform daily inventory and oversee checkout processes including payments and change.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, local laws and store policies on tobacco and liquor sales.
• Assist with price changes and signage as directed by merchandising.
