Job summary

M&T Bank, headquartered in Buffalo, New York, seeks a seasoned leader to serve as Head of Liquidity Product Management within our Commercial Banking organization.

You will shape and execute the liquidity product strategy, own the product lifecycle for deposits, sweep solutions, virtual accounts, and related cash-management tools, and drive growth across middle market, commercial, and large corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in treasury, finance, or related field with 12+ years in treasury, liquidity, or relevant product lines.
• 7+ years of managerial and/or project management experience within product lines.
• Strong financial analysis skills including cash flow and product profitability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with national industry contacts.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute liquidity strategy aligned with balance sheet goals and relationship banking.
• Own end-to-end liquidity product lifecycle: deposits, sweep, virtual accounts, cash concentration.
• Support pricing, enablement, and client experience across sales teams.
• Lead digital and API-enabled liquidity initiatives with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain governance, risk, and regulatory alignment for deposit products.
• Mentor and develop a team of product managers and promote client-focused culture.
