Societe Generale is seeking a Liquidity Product Specialist for the Americas based in New York. You will own the GTPS liquidity and deposit framework, optimize client deposits, and collaborate with Treasury, ALM and Risk to drive pricing, funding and governance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Treasury, ALM, liquidity management, transaction banking, deposit products, product management, risk, audit or consulting, with demonstrated ownership of cross-functional initiatives.
• English fluency required; French is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Treasury and funding strategy: Act as the principal GTPS partner to Treasury on USD deposit strategy, funding value, liquidity transfer pricing, balance-sheet consumption, deposit pricing, intragroup treatment and the optimization of financial resources.
• ALM and behavioral analysis: Partner with ALM to assess deposit stability, runoff assumptions, tenor and concentration profiles, operational versus non-operational characteristics, and the impact of client payment behavior on liquidity and funding requirements.
• Liquidity risk measurement and monitoring: Lead the identification, measurement, monitoring and escalation of intraday and end-of-day liquidity risk, including peak usage, overdraft and liquidity lines, collection and consumption of liquidity, and relevant management indicators.
• Stress testing and scenario analysis: Provide business data, assumptions and subject-matter expertise for liquidity stress testing and scenario analysis, challenge results where appropriate, and translate outputs into practical actions for pricing, commercialization, limits and client strategy.
• Deposit portfolio and pricing management: Develop analytics for demand deposits, time deposits and other liquidity products; recommend pricing and tenor strategies based on Treasury value, ALM constraints, client behavior, market conditions, risk appetite and commercial objectives.
• Governance, controls and regulatory alignment: Maintain a robust liquidity product governance framework, oversee applicable controls and regulatory requirements, document decisions and assumptions, and coordinate remediation of data, process, model or limit issues with control functions.
• Liquidity models and data ownership: Serve as business owner for relevant GTPS liquidity models and data, including implementation, data-quality controls, performance monitoring, periodic maintenance, validation support and at least annual recalibration where applicable.
• Product development and commercialization: Lead the end-to-end development and enhancement of liquidity and deposit products, from client need and business case through design, governance, pricing, operating model, technology requirements, launch readiness, sales enablement and post-launch performance monitoring.
• Blockchain and digital deposit innovation: Assess blockchain, distributed ledger and tokenized-deposit use cases for deposit accounts, including programmable balances, settlement efficiency, interoperability, ledger design, controls, reconciliation, legal and compliance considerations, and integration with existing cash-management services. Convert viable concepts into governed product roadmaps and pilot proposals.
• Stakeholder leadership and decision support: Produce clear daily, weekly and periodic management analysis; communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders; coordinate cross-functional execution; and support Sales in shaping client behavior, deposit growth and liquidity solutions consistent with Treasury, ALM and GTPS objectives.
