Job summary

USS Savannah Refinery LLC is seeking a Liquid Operator to maintain the liquid sugar shipping operation, analyze production, and load railcars and trailers. The role requires adherence to SOPs and safety standards in a mid-career setting at the Savannah site.

Responsibilities include operating processing equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring proper documentation and loading procedures for shipper and receiver requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience operating industrial production equipment.
• Minimum one year experience analyzing Sucrose & Invert.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Liquid Sugar Shipping operation including analyzing production, loading and shipping railcars and trailers.
• Operate and maintain sugar processing and peripheral equipment per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot problems on equipment and request repair as needed.
• Perform cleaning, inspection and lubrication on machinery.
• Load liquid products into railcars and trailers per SOPs.
• Ensure quality checks and SQF compliance in the area.
