Job summary

Rocky Mountain Agronomics is seeking a Liquid Plant Utility to join our team in Idaho. This hands-on role blends basic liquid handling with maintenance duties, supporting inventory flow and facility upkeep.

You will unload and load shipments, perform precision blending under sheets, operate forklifts/telehandlers, and contribute to safety and spill response. The position offers steady, year-round work in a stable farming-support operation.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments to maintain inventory flow.
• Load outgoing shipments meeting customer specifications.
• Operate small mixers for liquid blending per sheets.

• Maintain plant appearance and assist with tank/mixer installations.
• Log transfer volumes and inventory counts.
• Support maintenance teams with fittings, valves and pumps.

What You'll Do

• Unload Trucks and Tanks: Safely unload incoming shipments to maintain smooth inventory flow.
• Load Truck, Tank, and Tote: Accurately load outgoing shipments ensuring customer specifications are met.
• Precision Blending: Learn to operate small or simple mixers with little direct oversight required, blending liquid fertilizers according to specific sheets and customer needs.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and telehandlers safely to move and load products.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain plant appearance and assist with projects including construction and installation of new tanks, mixers, and lines.
• Inventory & Logging: Maintain basic accuracy in logging transfer volumes and inventory counts.
• Maintenance Support: Identify common fittings, valves, and pump types to assist maintenance teams.
• Safety & Spill Response: Demonstrate proficiency in PPE selection and basic spill response protocols.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Typically less than 1 year, with some prior work experience in industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural settings.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn mixer operation and equipment handling with minimal supervision.
• Attention to Detail: Basic accuracy in inventory logging and transfer volume tracking.
• Safety Mindset: Proficiency in PPE selection and spill response protocols.
• Team Player: Good communication skills and willingness to assist in various plant operations.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable with frequent sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, climb, and kneel frequently.
• High attention to detail regarding visual and auditory cues in a plant environment.
