Job summary

Rocky Mountain Agronomics Inc. in Blackfoot, ID is seeking a Liquid Plant Utility to support precision liquid blending, inventory control, and facility maintenance.

You will unload trucks, load shipments, operate forklifts, assist with construction of new tanks and lines, and ensure safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced agricultural processing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural settings preferred.
• Ability to learn mixer operation and equipment handling with minimal supervision.
• Basic inventory logging and transfer volume tracking.
• Proficiency in PPE selection and basic spill response protocols.
• Strong communication and willingness to assist in various plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload Trucks and Tanks: safely unload incoming shipments to maintain inventory flow.
• Load Truck, Tank, and Tote: accurately load outgoing shipments meeting customer specs.
• Precision Blending: operate small mixers with limited supervision for liquid fertilizers.
• Equipment Operation: use forklifts and telehandlers safely to move products.
• Facility Maintenance: maintain plant appearance and assist with tanks, mixers, lines projects.
• Inventory & Logging: log transfer volumes and inventory counts with basic accuracy.
• Maintenance Support: identify fittings, valves, and pump types for maintenance teams.
• Safety & Spill Response: apply PPE and basic spill response procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Unload Trucks and Tanks: Safely unload incoming shipments to maintain smooth inventory flow.

• Safety & Spill Response: Demonstrate proficiency in PPE selection and basic spill response protocols.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Typically less than 1 year, with some prior work experience in industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural settings.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn mixer operation and equipment handling with minimal supervision.
• Attention to Detail: Basic accuracy in inventory logging and transfer volume tracking.
• Safety Mindset: Proficiency in PPE selection and spill response protocols.
• Team Player: Good communication skills and willingness to assist in various plant operations.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable with frequent sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
