Job summary

Insight FS in Kingsford, MI, is hiring for a sales-focused role responsible for selling energy products within a defined territory and maintaining customer relationships. The position requires daily travel in the sales area, occasional overnight stays, and adherence to credit policies.

The role emphasizes meeting sales goals, using GROWMARK’s marketing programs, and delivering orders efficiently. Valid CDL/Hazmat may be required, with training and safety considerations as noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years or more of sales experience.
• Willingness to travel daily within the sales territory with occasional overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a route system in delivery territory and calls on clients to obtain orders for energy products.
• Acts as sole sales contact between GROWMARK and clients in delivery territory.
• Meet sales goals as established by supervisor.
• Promote the use of FS credit / Agri-Finance as a sales tool.
• Prepare order forms and sales contracts.
• Deliver petroleum products to fill orders obtained from clients as necessary.
• Follow up on customer complaints and seek timely solutions.
• Submit reports and communicate territory activities regularly.
• Maintain company vehicle and perform basic maintenance.
