The Carlyle Group in New York, NY is recruiting for a Loans & Structured Credit Analyst to support senior teams in evaluating opportunities across U.S. and European markets. You will apply credit analysis, financial modeling and industry research to help build a resilient investment portfolio.

The role emphasizes collaboration, rigorous quantitative work, and timely communication with deal teams. A 150k base salary is targeted, with comprehensive benefits and incentive eligibility.

Competenze

• 1-3 years of prior buy-side credit and/or sell-side high-yield research experience.
• Experience in Financial Services or Technology is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Industry Research: Develop/maintain a point of view on industry trends, drivers and economics.
• Financial Analysis: Analysis of assigned credits with focus on cash flow and on/off balance sheet assets/liabilities; build/maintain predictive financial models.
• Valuation Analysis: Analysis of transaction values, DCF and public values to assess asset protection, market value and recoveries in default.
• Capital structure analysis including assessment of credit agreement and indenture provisions.
• Relative value analysis and ability to express a view of investment risk/return.
• Monitoring of portfolio positions and summarizing information for daily meetings.
• Ensure assigned credit information is complete and accurate in internal systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive issues; and
• Special projects as assigned.
