Job summary

The Carlyle Group in New York, NY seeks an Associate to evaluate and execute new investment opportunities within Global Credit. You will monitor active investments, build financial models, assess structures for institutional clients, and draft investment materials for committees.

The role requires 1–3 years of finance experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of finance experience with exposure to asset finance, corporate credit and structured products.
• Prior investment experience or experience in FIG / structured credit / securitization / investment banking is preferred.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities in Global Credit.
• Monitor portfolio investments and design investment solutions for institutional investors.
• Contribute to due diligence, stakeholder engagement, and financial modeling.
• Draft investment committee memoranda and materials.
