Job summary

GenScript Biotech Corp in the United States seeks a highly motivated scientist to join the Innovation Center for novel lipid or polymer molecule development used in RNA and gene delivery formulations. You will drive organic lipid and polymer synthesis from R&D to scale-up, contributing to a proprietary lipid-based drug delivery platform.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in organic, polymer or lipid chemistry from an accredited University.
• Post-doctoral experience in academia or industry (1 year minimum).
• Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
• Proven track record of publications or patents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct novel organic and lipid polymer chemical synthesis to support and build the company's proprietary lipid-based drug delivery platform.
• Develop scalable synthetic processes for potential commercial use in LNP and targeted LNP formulation.
• Characterize and interpret analytical data from HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, etc.
• Maintain Chemistry laboratory and inventories per good laboratory procedures.
• Communicate research findings to supervisor and peers, proposing next steps.
