CONVOTIS Iberia is seeking an experienced IT Operations engineer to join the SOC/NOC team. You will be the first contact for incidents, configure and troubleshoot Linux/Windows systems, and manage web servers and load balancers.

You will handle TLS termination and assist with database topics across MariaDB, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL. The role requires fluent English and Spanish, independent working style, and the ability to train and onboard colleagues.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of IT operations experience (excluding education/internships).
• Hands-on Linux expertise: kernel tuning, filesystems and config.
• Solid Windows knowledge: Active Directory and config.
• Experience with web servers and load balancers (Traefik, Nginx, Envoy, Apache).
• Knowledge of databases: MariaDB, MS SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Basic TLS termination understanding.
• Independent, structured worker who shares knowledge.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Aufgaben

• As part of 1st level support and SOC/NOC, you are the first contact for requests and alerts.
• Configure, optimize and troubleshoot Linux/Windows systems and services.
• Operate and maintain web servers and load balancers (Traefik, Nginx, Envoy, Apache).
• Handle TLS termination and assist with DB-related topics in MariaDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL.
• Suggest improvements to configurations and contribute to operations evolution.
• Train and onboard new colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• Document work clearly, including daily time tracking.
• Work in shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Take on tasks beyond core role to expand know-how and support teammates.
