Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is required for the role.
• Experience in Linux administration (RHEL 8/9) in production.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher in production environments.
• Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Familiarity with Apache NiFi and PKI/security hardening standards.
• Strong log analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer production Linux VMs across multiple platforms.
• Monitor Kubernetes cluster health and node/pod operation.
• Manage certificate lifecycle and security compliance (STIG/SSP).
• Apply patches and hardening using YUM and enterprise repos.
• Support NiFi deployments and troubleshoot connectivity or resource issues.
• Enhance Ansible playbooks for automated configuration and ops.
• Collaborate with development teams on cluster builds and changes.
• Analyze logs to diagnose VM/container/application issues.
• Ensure systems meet up-to-date security/compliance requirements.
