Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support virtualized infrastructure across Linux and Windows systems. You will develop automation scripts in PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, and Python, document procedures, and collaborate with teammates to meet system requirements.

Travel up to 10% and onsite work in a classified lab environment are expected. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and US citizenship for clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (Must be US Citizen).
• Ability and desire to routinely work in a classified onsite lab environment.
• Working knowledge of VMware and virtual machine configuration.
• Proficiency with Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu).
• Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex problems independently.
• Basic understanding of system of systems concepts, IaaS, and complex architectures.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and troubleshoot the system’s virtualized environment using VMware.
• Support VM configurations based on system requirements for performance.
• Develop and maintain network architecture per specs.
• Create and maintain scripts with PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Document infrastructure processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain understanding of system of systems, IaaS, and interdependencies.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Support systems integration activities for the virtualized environment.
