Job summary

CACI is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator II to support the Defense Industrial Base by onboarding and helping partner companies adopt secure, cloud-based services. You’ll work hands-on with Linux systems and containerized environments, using cloud-native tools to ensure reliable operations.

The role emphasizes integrity, trust, and growth, with opportunities to automate using Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation, and to deepen expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Traefik.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4 additional years of relevant experience if no bachelor’s degree.
• Strong experience with Linux administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Traefik.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible.
• Working knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze issues across containerized and cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Connect to and manage Linux systems using SSH.
• Install, configure, and verify software packages using RPM and YUM.
• Monitor and gather status from Linux servers to ensure stable performance.
• Support containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Traefik.
• Work with IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation to automate deployments.
• Assist in vetting and onboarding DIB companies into CCC programs by validating their technical readiness.
