Location: Remote

Scheduled Work Hours: 35 hours/week

Duration: 12+ Months

Scope Of Services
Client is seeking a System Engineer to coordinate the details relating to the infrastructure to support the applications from initial design through testing and deployment.

• Perform technical design, development, and component testing of repository changes.
• Setup and maintain cloud-based servers and services.
• Engage with development teams to provide production management support and input for new application builds.
• Create scalable data pipeline architectures based on best practices.
• Coordinate execution of break fixes in various environments.
• Investigate and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables meet requirements, including code compliance with server software stacks.
• Support testing and deployment by monitoring servers and providing feedback.
• Create, update, and maintain system documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data requirements and technical solutions.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

Mandatory Skills/Experience: Candidates must possess the following:

• At least 8 years of experience in Linux OS server administration, including iPlanet Web Servers, IBM MDM/IIS, Oracle WebLogic, and Windows Servers on-premises and cloud.
• Minimum 8 years experience in SQL.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting (Ant, Maven, Shell) for configuration, build, and deployment tasks.
• Experience with SSO configuration using SiteMinder with WebLogic Servers.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience with Oracle 19c, AWS RDS/MySQL, or database appliances.
• Understanding scalable application design principles.
• Experience with SOA and RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
