Job summary

ULC is seeking a dependable Linux Systems Administrator with strong CLI experience to support our production server environment in a PCI-DSS compliant setting. The role focuses on Linux administration, safe deployments, log monitoring, and operational support, with some backend PHP/MySQL work in a LAMP stack.

You will write Bash scripts, troubleshoot issues, work in Git workflows, and provide occasional Windows workstation support in the office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Linux via command line.
• Experience supporting production or staging environments.
• Working knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Attention to detail and cautious approach to live systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining Linux servers via CLI.
• Support production deployments and releases.
• Monitor logs for errors or anomalies.
• Troubleshoot system, database, and application issues.
