Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Linux Administrator to support onsite operations in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires hands-on Linux server administration, storage and networking, and strong collaboration across DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Terraform, Ansible, and AI fundamentals, plus familiarity with ELK or Kafka for logging and message queues. Immediate start and long-term engagement are expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of software development in Java, Python, NodeJS or Go.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory administration.
• Experience with multiple DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Slack, Confluence, Jira.
• Linux server administration, storage and networking.
• Strong communication and learning aptitude.
• Preference for Terraform and Ansible experience.
• AI fundamentals knowledge (e.g., MCP server implementation, Copilot programming).
• Hands-on with elastic logging frameworks, Kafka or other message queues.
• Understanding of database concepts.
