Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer 2 to secure HPC resources via robust permission management. The role requires Linux expertise, IAM experience, and strong Python development skills, with a focus on RBAC/HBAC and automation.

The position is hybrid in Annapolis Junction, MD, with security clearance requirements and a compensation range of $130,000 to $270,000 annually. Direct hire only; benefits include comprehensive insurance and 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and scripting to automate tasks.
• Experience implementing access controls and permissions (RBAC/HBAC) in Linux.
• Proficiency in Python development.
• Familiar with IAM solutions (KeyCloak, FreeIPA, SSSD, LDAP, Kerberos).
• Experience with Ansible for provisioning HPC environments.
• CI/CD knowledge with GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Git source control experience.

• Implement access controls and permission mechanisms for securing HPC resources.
• Develop software solutions using Python.
• Automate tasks using Bash scripts.
