Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD, is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer with an active TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance to join our secure environment.

The role focuses on implementing access controls, RBAC/HBAC, and IAM automation using Python, Bash, Ansible, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines. This is a full-time on-site position requiring strong Linux expertise and familiarity with KeyCloak, FreeIPA, SSSD, LDAP, Kerberos, Docker/Podman, and Atlassian tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Linux CLI and scripting to automate tasks.
• Experience implementing RBAC/HBAC in Linux environments.
• Develop software using Python; familiarity with IAM tools.
• Experience with Ansible for provisioning HPC components; CI/CD using GitLab CI/Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• The Software Engineer shall implement access controls and permission mechanisms for securing resources in a secure HPC environment.
