Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Linux, Python, Bash) to implement access controls for securing HPC resources and to automate tasks with scripting. The engineer will design RBAC/HBAC models and contribute to IAM solutions and CI/CD pipelines.

Candidates should hold a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance (not sponsorable) and have 3–7 years SWE experience in similar scopes, with strong Linux and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and scripting to automate tasks.
• Proficient in Bash and Python for automation and tooling.
• Basic Linux systems administration incl. user/group management.
• Experience implementing access controls and permissions (RBAC/HBAC) in Linux.
• Software development using Python.
• Familiar with IAM solutions (KeyCloak, FreeIPA, SSSD, LDAP, Kerberos).
• Experience building Ansible playbooks for HPC provisioning.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with Git source control.

Responsibilities

• Implement access controls and permission mechanisms for securing HPC resources.
• Develop software solutions in Python for automation and integration.
• Contribute to IAM solutions and automation of provisioning via Ansible.
