Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks an experienced Linux Administrator (SA II) to support a government customer site in Laurel, MD. The role emphasizes designing architectures, automating tasks, and working in a small, dedicated Linux team within a hybrid cloud environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Linux administration, Bash/Python scripting, and DoD 8570.01-M compliant certifications. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required and relocation is not offered at this time.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration experience with patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience debugging and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and work across diverse teams to resolve issues.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and communicate issues clearly.
