Job summary

Interclypse seeks a systems administrator to manage large-scale Linux infrastructure including HPC environments and IaaS platforms, handling day-to-day operations, monitoring, problem resolution, and maintaining the security posture of compute, network, memory, and storage components.

You will install, configure, and support software across Linux clusters, perform Tier 1–2 troubleshooting, optimize operations, plan capacity, and ensure security and compliance with STE/STN policies and SSP

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Linux CLI and scripting via Bash/Python
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite, VMware ESXi/virtualization, IaC tools (Ansible, SaltStack)
• Monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Elastic Stack, Nagios
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Distributed file systems (Weka, CEPH, GPFS, HDFS)
• Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence is a plus

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, and supports software across large Linux cluster environments
• Performs Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting, diagnosis, and escalation to management and customers
• Optimizes system operations, resource utilization, and conducts capacity analysis and planning
• Configures and manages UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems and network components
• Supports system security integrity and SSP accreditation processes
