Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a Mid-Level Linux System Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The role emphasizes Linux server/workstation management, patching with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible, and DISA STIG remediation in a DoW Secret environment.

The successful candidate will deploy and automate with vCenter, Bash/Python scripting, and container platforms, primarily Linux-based infrastructure, and will coordinate secure data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
• Experience with Linux configuration management, patching, and automation.
• Experience administering Linux in virtualized environments (VMware vSphere/vCenter).
• Scripting with Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with LDAP/IdM/SSSD/AD integration and core Linux networking.
• Active DoD clearance or ability to obtain DoW Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers, workstations, and patching processes.
• Configure and automate environments using Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Maintain OpenShift containers and related repositories/registries.
• Ensure DISA STIG compliance and security baselines.
• Perform system monitoring, backups, restorations, and upgrades.
• Document procedures and baseline configurations.
