Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in large-scale data center/server migration.
• Extensive experience with Linux-based compute environments.
• Strong expertise with VMware ESXi/vSphere, including VM provisioning and vMotion.
• In-depth knowledge of iSCSI storage networking.
• Expert-level understanding of LVM and volume management.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts like TCP/IP and VLANs.
• Experience with containerization tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python.

Responsibilities

• Own and engineer the Linux compute platform during server migration.
• Plan and execute end-to-end server migrations.
• Manage and migrate VMware ESXi environments with minimal service disruption.
• Configure and troubleshoot iSCSI storage networks.
• Develop and maintain automation tooling for migration tasks.
• Collaborate with teams to assess migration readiness.
