Job summary

ArnAmy, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a skilled Linux/UNIX Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure.

You will ensure security, perform capacity planning, backups, disaster recovery planning, and coordinate with developers and vendors on complex systems. The role requires hands-on experience with WebSphere, IBM Storage Protect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Azure, and DevOps tooling, plus strong problem-solving and documentation

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years IT work experience with emphasis in UNIX-based systems.
Bachelor's or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience allowed.
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and related vendor software.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux/UNIX servers and related infrastructure.
Ensure system security, perform backups, DR planning, and capacity management.
Collaborate with developers and vendors; document procedures and changes.
Monitor performance and optimize configurations; respond to incidents and outages.
