Job summary

Corvid Technologies LLC is seeking a Linux systems expert to administer a command-line-only infrastructure in a high-security environment. The role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting RHEL 8–10, writing scripts in Python or Bash, and debugging complex hardware and software issues for a national-defense oriented operation.

The ideal candidate is US citizen, eligible for a Secret Clearance, and has a technical degree with a strong scripting background.

Qualifications

• US Citizen and eligible to obtain Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (math, engineering, CS, physics, etc.)
• Proficiency test demonstrating command line capabilities without internet resources
• Strong scripting background in Python or Bash

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot RHEL 8–10 features and configuration files
• Frequent use and understanding of man pages
• Debug hardware and software problems on Linux infrastructure
• Write custom scripts to automate system tasks and troubleshoot server/network issues
• Continue to improve skillset and knowledge
