Job summary

Jobtailor in Fall River, MA seeks a systems architect and infrastructure engineer to develop, customize, and maintain Linux-based systems, hyperconverged cloud infrastructure, and large-scale virtualization solutions. You will design network infrastructure, ensure high availability, and drive cybersecurity integrations across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in deep systems administration, engineering, or development.
Technical Foundation: Experience configuring and managing enterprise server operating systems and bare-metal servers.
Agility: Ability to pivot between multiple projects in an agile environment.
Communication: Ability to convey technical details to engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with SWFTS

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain software applications and system images on Linux platforms.
Run, manage, and debug hyperconverged cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments.
Architect, deploy, and troubleshoot large-scale virtualization and bare-metal infrastructure.
Design and maintain virtual and physical networks including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, and security controls.
