Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator - Quality Assurance to support Linux-based environments enabling mission-critical testing and operational readiness. You will maintain secure, stable Linux systems and contribute to automation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day IT activities.

You will work on configuration, incident response, and system reliability to ensure high-quality computing environments for testing and deployment across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph, at time of Application, to be considered for the position.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; Four (4) additional years of relevant system administration experience may be substituted for the required bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting Intelligence Community or other national security missions.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain Linux operating systems supporting enterprise IT environments.
• Install and maintain operating system software while ensuring system integrity, reliability, and availability.
• Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for enterprise IT systems; diagnose and resolve Tier 1 Help Desk incidents.
• Develop Bash shell scripts that improve system stability and deployment repeatability.
• Analyze escalated operational issues and provide technical feedback to management and customers.
