Job summary

Leidos is seeking a System Administrator to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. The role involves administering Linux and Windows servers within a VMware environment and providing 24/7 support. You will work with a team to analyze incidents, implement fixes, and improve system performance.

Candidates should have foundational cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure), VMware experience, and DoD 8570.11 Level II certification or equivalent. TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows servers in VMware environments.
• DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to handle service inquiries and problems.
• Provide technical support, administration, and monitoring of Linux, Microsoft, and Mac systems within VMware.
• Troubleshoot and maintain IT systems; distinguish user problems from enterprise issues.
• Coordinate with customers to collect data and implement incident resolutions.
• Develop solutions to complex technical issues and provide root cause reports.
• Support 24/7/365 operations and be on-call during outages.
