Job summary

Fuse Engineering is seeking a mid-level infrastructure professional to manage data center services, ensuring high availability for physical and virtual servers and storage. You will lead projects, design policies, troubleshoot, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 5–9 years of experience, and a Bachelor’s in CS/IT (or equivalent with experience). A Security+ and Linux+ certification are required by 6/30/2024, with VMware and Red Hat certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of experience in a similar role.
• TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or substitutable by experience).
• CompTIA Security+ CE (required) and CompTIA Linux+ or equivalent (required by 6/30/2024)

Technologies

• Advanced expertise in VMware suite, CentOS and RHEL 7/8/9 system administration, and VDI (specifically VMware Horizon, Citrix VDI). They need in-depth experience with Active Directory, LDAP and Centrify for identity management, Infoblox for core network services, and proficiency in using Nagios and Splunk for comprehensive system monitoring and analytics. Skills in automation scripts and experience with Salt and Ansible for configuration management are crucial.
• Lead security vulnerability assessments and mitigation efforts on Linux systems and other devices, leveraging advanced features of Tenable Nessus.
• Experience with Linux provisioning server tools such as Kickstart and Cobbler to facilitate the automation of network-based system installations of multiple computer operating systems.
• Develop, refine and implement sophisticated security mitigation strategies, contributing to the enterprise’s cyber framework.
• Enterprise-level management of Hyper-converged Infrastructure, vendor hardware and software across multiple data centers.
• Experience using Atlassian’s team collaboration software suite like Jira and Confluence to help organize teams, discuss and complete shared work.
• Experience using ServiceNow or other enterprise digital workflow tools.
