Job summary

Experis is seeking a Systems Administrator for an onsite role in Little Canada, MN. This 6-month contract focuses on maintaining Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring stability, and reliable service delivery.

Responsibilities include provisioning and patching Linux OS (RHEL), handling on-call incidents, and collaborating with development, cybersecurity, networking, and operations teams. W2 hourly pay ranges from $32 to $36.

Qualifications

• Deep Linux administration expertise including RHEL environment maintenance.
• Experience with infrastructure documentation and visualization.
• Knowledge of network file services including NFSv4 and Kerberos ACLs.
• Ability to manage DB backups and configuration.
• Virtualization experience with Proxmox and RedHat virt-who.

Job Title: Systems Administrator

Location: Little Canada, MN - 100% Onsite

6 Months Contract

Pay Range: $32/hr to $36/hr on W2

Job Details

• Support on-premises infrastructure and applications by administering Linux environments with a focus on stability, resilience, and dependable service delivery.
• Perform Linux OS provisioning, patching, upgrades, kernel updates, and lifecycle management to keep systems secure and operational.
• Improve product and development environment reliability by partnering with application development, cybersecurity, networking, and operations teams.
• Implement and maintain monitoring using Syslog, Splunk, and ELK to detect issues early and support faster incident response.
• Contribute to incident handling and on-call readiness by responding to infrastructure-related incidents and service disruptions.

What's Needed?

• Deep Linux administration expertise, including RHEL environment administration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Experience with infrastructure documentation and visualization, including dependency diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
• Knowledge of network file services, including NFSv4 and Kerberos-based ACLs for file shares and network storage devices.
• Ability to manage DB backups and configuration to support recoverability and operational continuity.
• Virtualization experience with Proxmox and RedHat virt-who, including support for platform reliability and operational efficiency.
