Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join the Infrastructure Support team onsite. You will manage Linux VMs across multi-site data centers and maintain cluster health in OpenShift environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of enterprise Linux experience, strong Ansible skills, and hands-on OpenShift/Kubernetes plus AVI/F5 load balancer knowledge. This role offers contract-to-hire potential and growth in automation.

Qualifications

5+ years of enterprise Linux systems administration (RHEL/Rocky).
Proficient in Ansible for automation and vault management.
Hands-on with OpenShift or Kubernetes and cluster operations.
Experience with AVI Vantage or F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
VM lifecycle management using ManageIQ or VMware.

Responsibilities

Manage and administer Linux (RHEL/Rocky) VMs across multi-site data centers.
Operate and maintain OpenShift container platform, including user management and cluster health.
Support AVI Vantage load balancer operations: virtual service configurations, pool management, SSL bindings, health checks.
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation tasks.
Coordinate hardware lifecycle activities including server management, decommissioning, and EOSL tracking.
