Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; 6 years of experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of Linux administration experience in secure or complex environments.
• 1+ years DoD Information Systems experience with Linux workstations/servers.
• Experience with RMF/NIST compliance and DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, deploy, maintain and upgrade Linux-based computing and networking infrastructure.
• Apply security hardening standards (STIG) and RMF/NIST controls.
• Support secure apps in environments like GitLab and MATLAB.
• Patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and security hardening.
• Integrate Linux with Windows for hybrid workflows; manage mixed OS environments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and program managers to ensure mission success.
