Compensation: $40–$44/hr (depending on experience)

Duration: 3 year contract

Day-to-Day:

We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator / Operator to support our autonomous vehicle testing program. This is a travel‑intensive role, working hands‑on with self‑driving vehicles, deploying Linux systems, and customizing scripts to ensure vehicles operate correctly in testing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux machines for autonomous vehicles
• Write and customize scripts to support vehicle operations
• Support and troubleshoot vehicle testing hardware and software
• Travel extensively to testing locations (~3 weeks per month)
• Document system changes and report on vehicle testing performance

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Linux system administration

• Basic IT knowledge for bringing Linux machines online
• Comfortable with extensive travel and long workweeks (>50 hours)
• Prior experience with autonomous vehicles (AV) is a plus, but not required

Compensation

$40 to $44

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
