Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions, LLC is seeking a Linux System Administrator to build and maintain an extensive IaaS, platform, and hypervisor stack for a DoD customer. You will work with a team to deploy new solutions, develop documentation, and monitor security and performance of the platform and services.

The role requires 3+ years of Linux server and endpoint/VM administration, VMware expertise, and knowledge of cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Linux server administration in enterprise environments (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• 3+ years Linux endpoints & VMs administration.
• 3+ years VMware virtualization infrastructure management (vSphere/vCenter/ESXi).
• Experience with cloud native architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of DoD policies, security best practices, and server hardening.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain on-prem services with limited cloud access.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity on system hardening and configuration management.
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code for provisioning.
• Support onboarding for development teams and ensure platform compliance.
• Assist with backup and disaster recovery planning.
