Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Linux Peripheral Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support peripheral subsystems on Qualcomm platforms.

You will work on USB and low-speed interfaces (I2C, I3C, SPI) and MIPI-based protocols, translating requirements into software design and implementing kernel/driver code for Linux and Android. On-site customer support is part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with C/C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • Experience as a Linux Kernel Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux kernel architecture and build tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Embedded software development experience on ARM architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, and support peripheral subsystems on Qualcomm platforms.
  • Develop kernel and driver software for USB, I2C, I3C, SPI and MIPI interfaces.
  • Collaborate with hardware, architecture, validation, and customer engineering teams.
  • Provide on-site customer support to bring-up and resolve peripheral issues.
