Experis is seeking a Linux Administrator to join a team supporting Patch Management and Security Operations. The role focuses on Linux and OpenShift platform administration in enterprise environments, with emphasis on patching, automation, and security compliance.

The position is onsite in Jersey City, NJ, with a pay range of $42–$48 per hour. It offers exposure to mission-critical infrastructure and opportunities to drive automation initiatives within a leading technology services organization.

Qualifications

Experience administering OpenShift and platform support in enterprise environments.
Hands-on patch management experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Satellite, SCCM, Tanium or equivalents.
Strong shell scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ansible).
Deep knowledge of Linux security, vulnerability remediation and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end patch management and vulnerability remediation for Linux servers and OpenShift platforms.
Perform patch assessment, testing, deployment, cluster maintenance and governance.
Manage patch deployment schedules, maintenance windows, and remediation tracking.
Support automation of patch deployment and post-patch validation processes.
Administer enterprise Linux environments and perform OS patching and issue troubleshooting.
