Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Linux System Administrator to manage and secure Linux servers across private and public clouds. You will apply RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Suse and Debian best practices, automate tasks with Ansible, and coordinate with security teams to maintain robust, compliant infrastructure.

This onsite role covers Downey, CA, and requires 7+ years of Linux experience along with VMware and Kubernetes expertise in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, Suse, and Debian Linux.
• Proficiency with automation via Ansible playbooks and scripting (Shell, Python).
• Experience with VMware, Vcenter, ESXi and Kubernetes infrastructure in public cloud.

Responsibilities

• Apply Linux concepts and best practices across multiple distributions to resolve complex issues.
• Manage private and public cloud Linux server instances and maintain thorough documentation.
• Perform patching, vulnerability assessment, and security policy implementation in 24/7 on-call environments.
