Qualifications

• Deep systems programming experience in C on Linux.
• Hands-on Linux kernel development experience—written and shipped drivers.
• Strong understanding of hardware/software interactions: buses, interrupts, DMA, memory‑mapped I/O.
• Experience designing long‑running system services and their interfaces.
• Comfort with ambiguity: new hardware, evolving specs, problems nobody has hit before.
• Clear communication with teams outside software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Linux kernel and userspace drivers for our hardware.
• Build the system management software that monitors, configures, and controls our platforms in production.
• Develop the low-level tooling that engineering, manufacturing, and support rely on.
• Work with hardware, silicon, and firmware teams during bring-up and throughout the product lifecycle.
• Debug problems that cross hardware/software boundaries, often with early hardware and incomplete information.
